Question : Hi Doctor,
I have an upset stomach for about 2 months now. It pains in the upper left part of the stomach and it feels full all the time, with no hunger pains at all even if i dont eat for a long time. The stools are loose some times, but most of the times ok now. Can these be the symptoms of a major gastric ailment? Which foods should i take to avoid medication as I am tired of it now.
Ans :If the upper left abdominal pain is persistent, please visit physician/ gastroenterologist at the earliest to find out the underlying any major symptom or cause. The pain may also be inter related to GI tracts/ glands/ renal regions. It requires a definitive diagnosis.
Currently you can avoid outside foods, oily, fried, junk foods and fast foods.
Kindly fix an appointment with dietitian, who can help you with a customized diet plan based on the diagnosis.
